Inter will play in front of more than 7,000 fans when they face Lugano in their first preseason friendly on Sunday, according to Tuttosport.

Antonio Conte’s side have been training away from the cameras in Switzerland this week, with extremely limited access for supporters and the media.

Fans will get the chance to cheer on the Nerazzurri at 17:30 local time on Sunday, during a match that will officially award the Casinò Lugano Cup.

“No one has been able to applaud or incite the Inter players while fitness coach Antonio Pintus puts them through their paces, but the team will get a warm welcome at the weekend,” the paper assured.

Tickets went on sale earlier this week and were all purchased in the space of a few hours.

Inter will fly out to Asia next week for their summer tour, where Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain all await Conte’s new-look side.
