Piero Ausilio joined up with Inter’s first team at their training camp in Switzerland this morning, according to Sky Sport.

The Nerazzurri’s sporting director was expected to fly to Manchester today in order to meet Manchester United for more Romelu Lukaku talks.

However, Ausilio arrived in Lugano earlier and will keep a close eye on the squad alongside Antonio Conte for the time being.

Inter’s vice-sporting director Dario Baccin and chief executive Beppe Marotta are also due to arrive later today.

Conte will have one week working with his new players before Inter face Lugano in their first preseason friendly on Sunday.

The first team will then fly out to Asia where they are scheduled to play Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

Valentino Lazaro and Stefano Sensi are the only two new signings working with Conte at present but Nicolo Barella could arrive in time for the Asian tour.
