Inter have developed an increasingly close relationship with Federico Pastorello over the last few transfer windows, as explained by Libero this morning.
The agent has worked with the Nerazzurri for several years but took on even greater importance this summer when his client Antonio Conte arrived in Milan.
Pastorello also manages Romelu Lukaku, whom Inter are trying to sign from Manchester United, and mediated during talks with Hertha Berlin for Valentino Lazaro.
“He’s an elegant man who reminds you of the infallible 007,” Libero joked.
“Pastorello has been close to Inter ever since he brought his then client Samir Handanovic to the club. He’s secured multiple deals for the Nerazzurri in collaboration with Piero Ausilio and all the directors who have worked alongside him.”
Kwadwo Asamoah, Antonio Candreva and Danilo D’Ambrosio – who is managed by Vincenzo Pisacane but remains ‘in Pastorello’s sphere of influence’ – are the only three players he manages in Inter’s current squad.
Lukaku’s arrival would make it four, but it must not be forgotten he also has control of youngsters such as Edoardo Vergani, who could have been sold to Roma in a deal to sign Edin Dzeko.
Pastorello will also be working hard in the coming weeks to find a buyer for Dalbert, who is not part of Inter’s plans anymore.
