Inter’s young goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão is close to joining Spanish second division side Albacete, according to Sky Sport.

Parma sold the 18-year-old to the Nerazzurri for €6.6 million after signing him from Cruzeiro in January, and the Ducali were one of three Serie A clubs linked last month with a move.

Sampdoria and Bologna were also interested according to reports elsewhere, with both clubs seeking backup for their respective first-choice keepers.

Albacete have already signed one youngster from Inter this summer, securing a permanent deal for striker Rey Manaj last week.

Luis Miguel Ramis’ side finished fourth in the Segunda Division last season, losing to Malaga in the play-off semi-finals.

It remains to be seen whether Brazao would be signing as a first-choice or as a backup to someone else.

Sky did not specify what formula the deal for the Brazilian would take, but it is likely to be a loan move.
