Lautaro Martinez celebrated the one-year anniversary of him becoming an Inter player on Instagram today.

El Toro joined from Racing Avellaneda last summer and was officially presented to the Italian media on 12 July 2018.

The striker posed with his new shirt alongside sporting director Piero Ausilio before completing his first press conference.

He scored nine goals in his debut campaign with the Nerazzurri, helping Inter secure Champions League qualification for the second year running.

Later on Thursday, Lautaro’s agent Beto Yaque insisted the 21-year-old was ‘only thinking of Inter’ after confirming interest from Barcelona.

The Catalan giants could trigger his €110 million release clause if they wanted but Yaque ruled out a departure anytime soon.

Yaque said: “We know the rumours about Barcelona’s interest are true, but I must repeat: Lautaro is staying at Inter.

“Let’s put it like this: if Lionel Messi wants to play with Lautaro then he’ll have to come to Inter. I hope that happens because it would be incredible for the Nerazzurri!”
