Samuele Longo could be set for a sixth loan spell in Spain after Sky Sport today reported Inter were in advanced talks with Deportivo La Coruna.
The 27-year-old has already played for Espanyol, Rayo Vallecano, Girona, Huesca and Tenerife and is now on the verge of signing for the Galician outfit.
Longo has been included in Antonio Conte’s squad for Inter’s preseason tour in Asia and will remain with the Nerazzurri until they return to Milan on 28 July.
Tenerife were interested in resigning the journeyman striker, but Deportivo appear to have beaten their fellow second-tier side to him.
Longo scored one goal in 15 appearances for Huesca last season, before leaving in January to play for Cremonese in Serie B.
The former Primavera star has also had spells with Verona, Frosinone and Cagliari but no club has ever wanted to make a permanent investment in him.
Deportivo looked set to earn promotion to La Liga in June after beating Mallorca 2-0 in the first leg of their playoff final, but a 3-0 loss means they will be back in the Segunda again this year.
