Inter held fresh talks with Fiorentina today about a deal for midfielder Borja Valero, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Viola were interested in bringing the Spaniard back to the club last month, but talks broke down over Valero’s wages.
Fiorentina have evidently not given up yet, though, and revived negotiations earlier as their sporting director Daniele Prade met Piero Ausilio.
The clubs have not reached an agreement yet but they remain positive a deal will be struck, not least because both want the move to go through.
