Roma Prepare ‘€30 Million Plus Edin Dzeko’ Offer For Inter Outcast Mauro Icardi

Roma have revived their interest for Mauro Icardi and are preparing a part-exchange offer for the Inter striker, according to La Repubblica.

The Giallorossi would offer €30 million in cash plus Edin Dzeko, whom they value at €20 million, creating a total valuation of €50 million.

Icardi would be given €5 million net annually to move to the capital, provided he changed his mind about wanting to join Juventus.

Roma need a striker if Dzeko departs and Gonzalo Higuain appears to be off their wish list, with the Argentine determined to stay in Turin.

Inter have no intention of keeping Icardi on their books but they have been struggling to field convincing offers this summer.

Maurito’s preference remains a move to Juve but Roma’s interest could change the state of play if the Bianconeri do not hurry up.

Roma have held firm on their asking price for Dzeko, who has already agreed personal terms with Inter, and are ready to keep the Bosnian if nobody meets it.

Antonio Conte needs two forwards to complete his new-look side but neither Dzeko nor Romelu Lukaku are proving easy targets.
