Inter’s academy talents Marco Pompetti and Felice D’Amico are close to joining Sampdoria, according to Sky Sport.
Pompetti will move on a season-long loan while D’Amico is expected to sign on a permanent deal.
Inter will receive a substantial cut of any future transfer fee Samp secure for the latter, although it was not specified how much.
Both players were important figures in the Nerazzurri’s Primavera side last season, as Armando Madonna led them to a second-place finish in the league.
D’Amico scored seven goals in the Campionato Primavera last season, spending six months with Inter before moving on loan to Chievo in January.
Pompetti made 41 Inter appearances in all competitions and provided 12 assists in total, including two against PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Youth League.
D’Amico joined Inter from Palermo last summer and has yet to make his senior debut, which Samp could perhaps grant him under Eusebio Di Francesco.
His counterpart arrived from Pescara in 2017 and would also be hoping to break into the first-team fold in Genova.
