With Radja Nainggolan on the verge of an exit and both Borja Valero and Joao Mario expected to depart, Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Inter should look to sign another midfielder.
The Milan based newspaper suggest that Inter should reignite their previous interest in signing Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic or Marseille’s Kevin Strootman.
Acquiring Rakitic is certainly far easier said than done, this despite his relationship with Barcelona breaking down. The Spaniards demands for the Croatian are currently too high for the Nerazzurri, who hope Barcelona may reduce their demands as the transfer window progresses further.
As for Strootman, the former Roma man has been told he is free to find a new club. The Dutchman only joined the French outfit last Summer, who were then managed by Rudi Garcia but new L’OM boss Andre Villas Boas is not a fan of the 29-year-old, who will cost no more than €20 million.
