Antonio Conte has worked his magic with several players during the course of pre-season with Dalbert and Antonio Candreva perhaps being the biggest benefactors so much so that Gazzetta dello Sport believe Inter will not need any further additions at wing-back.
Last season Dalbert and Candreva were among the worst performers in the Nerazzurri squad but under Conte they look completely different players, even if these performances have only come in pre-season matches.
Dalbert has never truly showed what he is capable of since his circa €20 million 2017 arrival from Nice but has certainly deserved a lot of applause for the way he has played during pre-season.
As for Candreva, the Italian’s playing time was heavily limited last season under Luciano Spalletti and he was often played out of position when called upon or not given enough time to make any sort of impact.
The report goes on to state that new additions, particularly on the left hand side can no longer be taken for granted due to Dalbert’s performances but if he were to leave Inter will obviously be forced to move to find a replacement.
