Inter Milan has high hopes of the upcoming season. The Italian powerhouse is desperate to win some silverware, and they are doing everything in order to attract some quality players and increase their chances.

The primary goal for the 2019/20 campaign is to dethrone Juventus in the domestic competition. For the past eight years, the Old Lady has been terrorizing the Italian football. Meanwhile, Inter won the last title in 2010. That was the glorious year under Jose Mourinho, when Nerazzurri won the famous Treble, adding Coppa Italia and Champions League trophies to their collection.

Inter also aims to make a notable result in Europe. After last year’s elimination from the Champions League already in the group stage, going one step further is a must for the team. Not only because of the large amount of money but also, due to the club’s reputation, which demands them being involved in the late stages of any competition they participate in.

According to several bookmakers, Inter is around the 10th place when looking the favorites for winning the Champions League, with the odds going between 33/1 and 50/1. The bookmakers see them and Napoli as the teams with similar quality and chances to win the most prominent trophy in Europe. Of course, these odds are reflecting the current situation, which could change dramatically in the next few weeks.

Antonio Conte, the newly appointed manager of Nerazzurri, is working closely with the management and searching for possible additions to his squad. The biggest hype at the moments is around Romelu Lukaku, who has been a target if Inter for quite some time as SempreInter.com already wrote.

The Belgian international would be a perfect fit for Conte’s team for several reasons. His power and strength is something which Inter needs at the moment. Player of his profile would dramatically change the entire gameplan, by creating a lot of space for other teammates.

Also, Inter would finally have a replacement for Mauro Icardi, whose problematic behavior creates all sorts of problems at Giuseppe Meazza. That would change many things among the players, and create a healthier environment.

If this deal doesn’t go through, the next target, according to TheSun.com, is Edin Dzeko, one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, who already proved his worth.

Adding one of these two guys would definitely improve Inter’s chances in the elite continental competition. Not only that, it would give a signal for other players that Conte’s team has a huge potential, and many of them could accept future offers.

There is a rumor going on for quite some time that Luka Modric wants to join Inter. A player like that would definitely upgrade Nerazzurri’s game, and their chances for taking the Champions League trophy would be much better. The 2018 Balon d’Or winner and the guy who knows how to win this competition would mean a lot to Conte.

If you are keen on betting on Inter’s international success, we have a place with free bets for the 2019/2020 UEFA Champions League season. It might be better to use this offer now, while the odds are still high, before some of the players mentioned above lands in Milan.
