George Puscas is poised for a move to the Championship as Birmingham and Reading battle for the Inter forward’s signature, according to Sky Sport.
Inter are hoping to use the money from his sale to finance incoming deals, most notably those for Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko.
Facundo Colidio is also edging nearer to England’s second tier as Leeds United continue talks for the 19-year-old.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are now favourites to sign the academy striker ahead of Premier League rivals Newcastle, but no deal is in place yet.
Puscas was due to join Palermo on a permanent deal in June after scoring nine league goals for them last season.
But the Rosanero went bankrupt last month after failing to register for Serie B, forcing them to default on their payment.
Colidio racked up 31 appearances in all competitions for Inter’s Primavera last year, scoring 12 goals and creating six assists.
He made the move to Serie A two summers ago, when the Nerazzurri signed him from Boca Juniors for €7 million.
Colidio suffered a personal disappointment earlier this year when he was left out of Fernando Batista’s 21-man squad for the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Poland.
He has never made his debut for Inter’s first team but frequently trained with the squad under Luciano Spalletti.
