Man Utd Could Sell Lukaku To Inter After Premier League Transfer Window Shuts

Inter do not need to complete a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku before the Premier League’s transfer window closes on Thursday, according to Sky Sport last night.

Manchester United need to find a replacement for the Belgian striker and they have little more than 48 hours left in which to do so.

However, English clubs can still sell players abroad after Thursday’s deadline and this gives Inter more time to work on a convincing offer.

Juventus were strongly interested in signing Lukaku as well last week, but the Bianconeri have since taken a back seat after their swap deal involving Paulo Dybala fell through.

Inter have never stopped their negotiations with United despite it seeming certain Lukaku would join Juve until yesterday.

The Nerazzurri have been in constant contact with the player’s entourage as well, although they agreed personal terms with the forward a long time ago.

Lukaku scored 15 goals in all competitions for United last season, including two in a famous 3-1 victory against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last 16.
