George Puscas officially completed a permanent move from Inter to Championship side Reading tonight.
The Royals did not disclose the transfer fee when announcing the deal but reports in Italy have suggested Inter will receive around €10 million.
Puscas leaves the Nerazzurri after making six appearances for their first team, all of which came under Roberto Mancini four seasons ago.
“Reading Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of 23-year-old Romanian international striker George Pușcaș,” a statement on the club’s website read.
“Pușcaș flew into the country to undergo a medical this afternoon and has now put pen to paper on a five-year contract, completing a transfer from Inter Milan for an undisclosed fee.
“Manager José Gomes said: ‘George is a young, hungry, talented forward with a natural instinct to score goals. Without goals you cannot win games and we now have different options to choose from in the final third of the field. I am looking forward to welcoming him into our squad at Reading’.”
Chief executive Nigel Howe added: “All teams need goals in their ranks and we have another talented young striker who can get them for us.
“I am delighted to welcome him to Madejski Stadium and excited to see him represent the Royals.”
