Roma Want Inter To Propose Icardi-Dzeko Swap

Inter’s only way to sign Edin Dzeko could be by offering Mauro Icardi according to a report from La Repubblica.

Inter have been after Dzeko for some time but have refused to meet Roma’s €20 million demands for the Bosnian striker due to his age and the fact he has just a year left on his contract.

Roma are in no hurry to propose a deal that would see Dzeko and cash head to Milan in exchange for Icardi as they would prefer Inter to make that proposal so that they can have more bargaining power in any potential deal.

The Giallorossi must however convince Icardi and his wife/agent Wanda to join them which could be far easier said than done given they are not participating in the Champions League.

That said, the Icardi’s are coming to the realisation that a move to Juventus may not be possible which could well help Roma out in their bid to convince the 26-year-old.
