Inter Can Finance Milinkovic-Savic Move With Icardi-Dzeko Swap Deal

Inter would have the necessary financial resources to chase a deal for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if they swapped Mauro Icardi for Edin Dzeko, according to Sport Mediaset.

Roma have offered €30 million plus the Bosnian striker to secure Maurito’s services, but Beppe Marotta wants at least €40 million in cash.

The Nerazzurri’s CEO has followed Milinkovic-Savic since his days working for Juventus and remains hopeful of making a last-minute move.

The Serbian international scored seven goals for Lazio last season as Simone Inzaghi’s side finished eighth in Serie A and won the Coppa Italia.

Icardi does not dislike the offer Roma have made him but the Argentine’s preference remains a move to Juventus.

Inter will agree to send their former captain to their arch rivals if the Bianconeri accept a swap deal with Paulo Dybala.

Both players would be valued equally within the agreement, allowing Inter and Juve to balance their books by recording healthy profits.

Inter are said not to be bothered about where Icardi ends up, although most other sources have suggested this week that they are determined to avoid a deal with Juve.
