Inter’s management have scheduled a meeting with Wanda Nara for this afternoon to discuss Mauro Icardi’s future, according to Sky Sport.

The Nerazzurri will reiterate the position they have held since the start of the summer, or rather that Icardi is not part of the club’s plans and will not be reintegrated into the first team.

Beppe Marotta last night denied claims from Wanda that a high-profile figure had encouraged Icardi to stay at Inter.

Club president Steven Zhang will also attend today’s meeting as he wants to communicate Inter’s stance to Wanda in person.

Napoli remain interested spectators in events at San Siro and are delaying a deal to sign Fernando Llorente, in the hope they can secure Maurito’s services.

Juventus are also monitoring the situation from afar, although the Bianconeri have never made any official contact with Inter over a deal for Icardi.

Icardi did not attend last night’s win against Lecce after being left out of Antonio Conte’s match-day squad.
