Inter are expected to complete a deal to sign Cristiano Biraghi regardless of whether Dalbert joins Fiorentina, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Brazilian seems to have persuaded himself to accept a move to the Viola, although Inter will remain cautious on the matter until everything is certain.

Biraghi’s arrival in Milan is not considered in doubt and it should happen even if Dalbert were to reject Fiorentina again at the last minute.

Dalbert’s last remaining doubts are thought to be linked to the fact Nice have not yet signed Stanley Nsoki from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old was an unused substitute last night as Inter began their Serie A campaign with a convincing 4-0 win against Lecce.

Biraghi also sat out his first match of the season on Saturday when Fiorentina lost 4-3 at home to Napoli.

The Italy international is one of three signings Antonio Conte is hoping to complete before the transfer window shuts on Monday.

Conte is also awaiting the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United, before turning his attention to another central midfielder.
