Federico Dimarco praised his Inter teammates today for making a ‘great start’ to the campaign after Monday’s 4-0 win against Lecce.

The 21-year-old was an unused substitute at San Siro as Antonio Conte’s side got their Serie A season off to the best possible start.

Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi, Romelu Lukaku and Antonio Candreva were all on target, placing Inter top of the embryonic league table.

Dimarco wrote on Instagram: “Great start! Hearing the enthusiasm of the San Siro crowd again is something unique! Great victory! Forza Inter…”
