Flamengo are not the only club looking to sign Gabriel Barbosa from Inter on a permanent deal, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Jorge Jesus’ side want to keep the striker after their annual loan deal expires on 31 December.
But Gabigol also has interest from clubs in France, Spain and Russia, giving Inter hope of sparking a bidding war for the 22-year-old.
He has scored 16 goals in 20 matches for Flamengo this year between the Brasilerao and Coppa Libertadores.
Gabigol’s agents were spotted at Inter’s offices in Milan yesterday, although it was not clear what emerged from their talks.
Barbosa joined Inter in a €30 million deal from Santos in 2016 but has almost no chance of returning to the Nerazzurri.
He scored just once in nine appearances during the 2016-17 season before signing on loan for Benfica the following summer.
Santos resigned their former forward last year before Gabigol moved to Flamengo at the start of 2019.
