Today’s edition of Il Giornale focuses on the future of Mauro Icardi, to whom Inter reiterated yesterday that he will not be part of the new project.

More specifically, according to the report, it was made clear to the former Sampdoria player that there are three routes for him to take.

The first scenario is accepting Napoli’s offer as the Partenopei are the only team so far that have made a concrete offer and are still waiting for a response from the striker.

The second scenario is if Juventus offer what Inter have been asking for all Summer, namely either €70-80 million in cash or a straight swap with compatriot Paulo Dybala, as the Nerazzurri are not interested in Croatian veteran striker Mario Mandzukic.

The third and final scenario, which is the least desirable for all parties involved, is for Icardi to continue training at Appiano Gentile, but without any chance of him actually getting to play any official matches.
