Fiorentina have made a €30 million offer to Inter for winger Matteo Politano according to a report from Corriere Fiorentino, who are the latest in a long line of sources to confirm the offer.

La Viola offered the same amount to Udinese and Sassuolo for Rodrigo de Paul and Domenico Berardi but having been knocked back by both clubs they have turned their attention to Italian international Politano.

The Florence based club will have to raise their offer though if they wish to secure Politano ahead of tomorrow night’s transfer deadline as Inter currently do not want to sell the former Sassuolo player but that is not to say that they could not be convinced to do so if the money was right.

The fact Inter would then be forced to delve back into the transfer market themselves if they were to sell Politano makes a move, particularly at this stage of the window, really complicated.
