Inter match-winner Romelu Lukaku shared his delight with the media following Inter’s 2-1 away victory over Cagliari.

Lautaro Martinez gave the Nerazzurri a lead in the first half and Cagliari drew level soon after the restart. Lukaku won Inter the game by slotting home a penalty which was won by Stefano Sensi.

“I am very happy to have won the match. It was a difficult game and we had to fight and in the end we managed to win,” he started the interview with Inter’s in-house television channel Inter TV.

“It is a great feeling to be scoring goals in an Inter shirt. I have a good record and I will try to keep it going.”

The Belgian then spoke on his growing partnership with Lautaro Martinez.

“Everything is fine. I think the partnership will be better as time passes. I am very happy for him as he scored a great goal.”

Lukaku concluded: “We have to work well after the international break to prepare for the next matches against Udinese and Slavia Prague.”
