Former Inter midfielder Santiago Solari believes that Inter have what it takes to end Juventus’ monopoly over Serie A and win the Serie A title this season.
Inter have won two from two this season and currently sit at the top of the league table.
“I am happy for the way in which the Nerazzurri team have started the season,” Solari remarked in an interview with Tutto Mercato Web on the sidelines of the FIFA Best presentation at San Siro.
Solari went on to recall his spell with the club and tip the club for Scudetto glory but he made it clear that under no illusion does he think it will be easy.
“I spent three wonderful years in Milan where I won everything there. Inter can win the Scudetto. They will be competing with Napoli, Milan and above all Juventus so it will be difficult but they have started the season well and I hope they can win it.”
