Inter have taken the decision not to respond to leading ultra group Curva Nord after they released a statement in wake of Inter striker Romelu Lukaku being racially abused according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Curva Nord suggested that what Lukaku was subjected in Sunday night’s 2-1 victory over Cagliari was not racist but just simply the way some Italian fans try to put off opponents and their comments have spread worldwide and given Inter a lot of bad press.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to detail that Lukaku too has decided against responding to the Curva Nord.
Lukaku believes that he said what needed to be said in his own statement following the incident and sees no point in responding to them.
The Belgian striker has started life in Nerazzurri following his club record transfer in fine fashion having scored two goals in two games.
