Antonio Conte is having those not on international duty over the international break in at training to work on fitness according to a report from Sky Sport.

Despite having a depleted squad available to him, Conte wishes to get several of the remaining players up to their physical best for Inter’s first match back after the break against Udinese.

Diego Godin is one such player who will be able to use this to great effect. The Uruguayan defender has only just recovered from injury and although he made a substitute appearance against Cagliari in Sunday’s 2-1 win, he still needs to get his fitness levels up.

Alexis Sanchez is currently away with the Chilean national team and is likely to feature against Argentina but after the match, whether he has featured or not, he will return to Milan and will be training at Inter’s Angelo Moratti Sports Centre to get back in shape.

The likes of Cristiano Biraghi and Valentino Lazaro are also likely to benefit from this.
