Daniel Bessa’s rumoured return to Inter in the Summer transfer window was nothing more than an idea that Inter management had according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

In the final days of the market, reports suggested Inter could swoop in for the midfielder as he would help them meet homegrown squad requirements in UEFA competitions due to being an Inter academy graduate.

The Nerazzurri never did make an offer for the Italo-Brazilian but the report states that they will keep a close eye on him.

Inter also still have an agreement in place with Hellas Verona which entitles them to 30% of any permanent future transfer.

The 26-year-old is currently sidelined due to injury and has therefore yet to feature for the Gialloblu this season in any competition.

Last season he made 36 appearances across all competitions as he spent the season on loan at Genoa, in which he scored one goal and tallied four assists.
