British Tabloid Namea Inter As One Of The Winners Of The Transfer Window

Inter are one of the three winners of this summer’s transfer window, according to British newspaper the Daily Mail.

The work of Antonio Conte and Beppe Marotta was identified for their impressive purchases and ability to sell players no longer considered essential to the project being undertaken in Milan.

Key highlights of the transfer window, according to the report, include the acquisitions of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United, with Lukaku already showing his value by scoring in both of Inter’s two games so far this season.

The report also highlighted the club’s ability to offload estranged striker Mauro Icardi from the club to PSG on transfer deadline day as an important part of the summer.

Finally, the biggest failures of the transfer window were identified as Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane’s failure to acquire Paul Pogba from Manchester United, Ajax for losing the majority of their key players and Neymar, whose move away from PSG never materialised.
