Valentino Lazaro’s agent Max Hagmayr has come out and dismissed Gazzetta dello Sport’s recent article on player salaries in Serie A.
The report from the Milan based news outlet published today has the Austrian international down for earning €1.5 million annually at the Nerazzurri but Hagmayr was quick to insist that this is not the case.
“It is not true, ‘Tino earns much more than that. He ranks among the top ten best earning players of the team and what he earns reflects his value within the team,” he said in an interview with LaOla1.
The 23-year-old joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin during the Summer transfer window and put pen to paper on a four year contract with the club.
Injury has so far prevented Lazaro from making any competitive appearances since his arrival but once recovered, he is expected to challenge Antonio Candreva for the starting berth at right wing-back.
