With Italy on the brink of securing their place at next Summer’s European Championship’s, Gazzetta dello Sport have taken the opportunity to take a look at the squad Roberto Mancini could possibly call upon.
Italy have won all six of their group stage games to date and have a six point gap over second placed Finland with four games to play.
The Milan based news outlet believe that 15 players have already as good as secured their place in the team leaving just eight places available to others.
Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Salvatore Sirigu.
Defenders: Leonardo Bonuccia, Emerson Palmieri, Alessandro Florenzi and Giorgio Chiellini, should he have recovered from his injury.
Midfielders: Nicolo Barella, Jorginho, Stefano Sensi, Marco Verratti, Lorenzo Pellegrini.
Attackers: Federico Bernardeschi, Federico Chiesa, Andrea Belotti, Lorenzo Insigne.
Mattia De Sciglio and Ciro Immobile are on the cusp of securing their places which would mean just six spots remain, one of which will be occupied by another goalkeeper.
