Inter have appointed a new international sales manager in the shape of Spaniard Ruben Guillem according to a report from football business news outlet Calcio e Finanza.

Guillem has been with La Liga outfit Valencia for the past six years and his remit at the Nerazzurri will largely mirror that of the one he was working under at the Mestalla Stadium outfit which saw him entrusted with finding regional sponsors and managing licences.

Guillem is the third Spaniard to have arrived at Inter in recent months following the arrival of fitness coach Antonio Pintus, who swapped Real Madrid for Inter over the Summer and the more recent arrival of Jaime Colas, who was appointed as the head of the entire commercial area with a view to increasing the club’s profile throughout Europe and in Asia, where Inter’s club owners Suning originate from.

Guillem will be working under Colas in what is one of the most important departments at the club with it being where 56% of the club’s revenues come from.
