Sassuolo president Giovanni Carnevali believes that Stefano Sensi can yet still further improve following his Summer switch to Inter.
Sensi joined Inter on a season long loan from the Neroverdi with the Nerazzurri having an option to turn his stay at the club into a permanent one for a sum of €25 million at the end of the season.
“He needs time to be able to express his qualities even more, but he is certainly a great purchase by Inter,” Carnevali remarked in an interview with Radio Sportiva.
The Italian international was largely expected to play a rotation role upon his arrival at the club but has surprised everyone by cementing his place as a starter at this early stage of the 2019/20 season.
Sensi has arguably been Inter’s man of the match in each of their two games played in the league so far, in which he has managed to contribute one goal.
