Beto Yaque, the agent of Lautaro Martinez, has admitted he has not been surprised by his client’s growth as a player and the success he has been having on the pitch.
“He has grown enormously at Inter and in the national team and it doesn’t surprise me at all because I shared every moment with him: he has no limits,” he told TyC Sports.
“Lautaro is very humble. It was not easy to convince him to leave his hometown because he is very close to his family. He suffered a lot due to being away from home but luckily his parents trusted me.
“Before going to Inter, I told him he would not struggle to settle in, because I know that whatever Lautaro puts his mind to, he achieves. It is no mean feat to waltz into San Siro and play as if it’s your backyard
Barcelona seemingly showed an interest in him recently and Yaque concluded the interview by saying: “It would be nice to see him with Messi at Barcelona.”
