Inter Full-Back Kwadwo Asamoah: “We Have A Winning Mentality”

Inter’s Ghanian international player Kwadwo Asamoah spoke to Italian media outlet InterTV following the Nerazzurri’s 1-0 victory over Udinese last night.

“This was a very important victory, achieved in a very tough game. We have to improve from game to game. The 3-5-2? I already played this role a couple of years ago, the coach asks the wing-backs to give the team width, so that they can push the opponent into one on ones and always be in the right position in the defensive phase.”

Asamoah then spoke of how much better the squad can be.

“We’re on the right track, we have a winning mentality. Then there’s a lot to improve, the new players have to get to know each other better, we all have to integrate. But we’re doing well.”

Finally, the player spoke of new arrivals Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella.

“For Barella it was his first home game, he got a yellow card in the first half and we didn’t want to risk it, so he stayed out in the second half. They both had a good match.”
