Del Piero: “Inter Ahead Of Napoli When It Comes To Being The Anti-Juventus”

Alessandro Del Piero believes that Inter are currently leading the race to challenge Juventus for the Serie A title this season, ahead of Napoli.

Inter are one of just two sides across Europe’s top five leagues to have won every league game that they have played so far and they occupy top spot in the table heading into this weekend’s Milan derby. Napoli on the other hand are in fourth place with two wins and a loss to their name.

“Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte have excellent teams. Today I see Inter as slightly ahead of Napoli when it comes to being the anti-Juventus in the league and I think the Nerazzurri will bet everything on the Scudetto,” the former Italian international remarked in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I see many resemblances between this Inter and the Juventus of 2011/12. They have the same determination, desire to win and the manager has a strong impact on the team. There is also a great desire for redemption.”
