Nicolo Barella knows that he and his Inter teammates have got to be better in the future off the back of the 1-1 draw in the Champions League group stage opener against Slavia Prague.

Inter found things very difficult for large periods of the game and looked set to lose 1-0 before Barella popped up with an equaliser in the final minutes of the match at San Siro.

“They were very organised, we could have done better. The important thing is that we managed to equalise. There are still more matches ahead and we will have to pick up as many points as possible,” the Italian international midfielder remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

“It is not easy to change clubs but everyone has made me feel part of the group and I am calm. The goal is to always improve. All the games have a story of their own, we are a strong side and we will try to progress into the next round.”
