Stefano Sensi has shared his disappointment following Inter’s 1-1 draw in their opening group stage match in the Champions League against Czech side Slavia Prague.

“We have a bit of regret after this match because we did not have the first match that we wanted to have. In the second half there was a reaction from us but we still have to work to make ourselves ready for a competition where you can’t go wrong,” the diminutive Italian midfielder remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports.

“In the first half things did not go the way we wanted but tomorrow we will look back at the mistakes. We will analyse the match and now our focus has shifted to the derby.”

He concluded: “We have to raise our concentration because in the derby form is of little importance, having the right determination is important and you can’t go wrong.”
