Danilo D’Ambrosio, Matias Vecino and Lautaro Martinez will return to the starting XI for tonight’s Champions League opener at home to Slavia Prague according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The trio were dropped to the bench for the 1-0 win over Udinese at the weekend but will be back tonight and will presumably take the places of Diego Godin, Nicolo Barella and Matteo Politano respectively.
It will be Lautaro Martinez’s first Champions League start and he will partner Romelu Lukaku in the attack who has overcome the back injury he sustained in the warm-up prior to the match against Udinese.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that the match against the Czech First League opposition will also be the first opportunity for Summer transfer window arrival Valentino Lazaro to impress with Inter manager Antonio Conte set to hand the Austrian international his Nerazzurri debut.
