Riccardo Ferri has shared his thoughts and feelings on Inter’s 1-1 draw at home to Slavia Prague in the Champions League group stage opener.
“It was a difficult game, in which Slavia Prague proved themselves to be strong. A draw is a fair result for the match,” he remarked in an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV.
“Inter were sterile in possession and Inter did not prepare to be like this in the game. Inter can improve and it is not Antonio Conte’s philosophy to play long balls to an isolated Romelu Lukaku.
“Inter were always second to every ball. Slavia anticipated their every move and always put Inter into difficulty. Politano livened things up a bit as did Barella.”
