Former Inter Striker Vieri: “Conte Took The Blame For Tuesday, Surely There’ll Be A Change In The Derby”

Former Inter and AC Milan striker Christian Vieri is convinced that a different Inter will be seen in this weekend’s first Derby della Madonnina of the season after the disappointing performance in Tuesday’s match against Slavia Prague.

The Nerazzurri needed an injury time goal from Nicolo Barella to rescue a draw against the reigning Czech First League champions in the opening round of the Champions League and were outclassed by the visitors for large spells in the match.

“Antonio Conte has taken all the blame for the attitude shown on Tuesday and surely on Saturday in the derby there will be a change. In terms of preparation though, you can not afford to mess up a game like the one against Slavia Prague,” he remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

This Saturday’s Milan derby, which AC Milan will be hosting at San Siro, is scheduled to kick off at 20:45 local time.
