It will take 32 years for both Inter and AC Milan to recoup their investment in their proposed new stadium according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

The two clubs plan to invest a sum of €1.23 billion. The investment will be made through a loan that will cover 90% of the investment over a 30 year period with a 5% interest attached.

€564 million will go toward the construction of the stadium – including €2.7 million for land reclamation, €204 million for the base structure, €80 million in construction costs and €48 million for things like seats.

€472 million will go toward the multi-functional area around the stadium – €25 million will go toward building a hotel, €106 million for offices and €135 million for a shopping centre.

€43 million of the loan will go toward demolition San Siro.

The report goes on to state that the proposed new stadium will give the clubs €124 million in revenue annually, which is a lot more than what the clubs currently earn via San Siro.
