Inter and AC Milan’s presentation of the plans for their proposed new stadium to the city council has been delayed for a few days according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

The presentation was due to take place this coming Tuesday but has been pushed back a few days for as yet unknown reasons and it could now instead take place on Friday September 27.

“During the week, meetings will also begin between the council committees, which will then have to convince the Palazzo Marino to write an address document that offers the go-ahead for the final administrative act signed by the council: the definition of a work of public interest for the city,” the report also explains.

“However, the municipal council is far from being convinced on the need to declare the San Siro is an essential project for Milan. In this moment, on the contrary, the opposites seem to overcome the enthusiasts.”
