This weekend’s Derby della Madonnina will be the first experience of the fixture for many players and it will also be the first time that Inter manager Antonio Conte and AC Milan manager Marco Giampaolo are involved in one too, Gazzetta dello Sport highlight.

Giampaolo has previously managed in the Genoese derby when he was in charge of Sampdoria and Milan fans will undoubtedly be hoping he can have a similar success rate in the Milan derby as he won four of his six matches against Genoa whilst in charge at the Blucerchiati.

Antonio Conte also has favourable numbers when it comes to having managed in the Turin derby as he won all four. The report from the Milan based news outlet also goes on to recall that Conte has never lost to Milan either during his management career having won six times and drawn three times against the Rossoneri.
