Mauro Icardi has a clause in his contract that allows him to veto if Paris Saint Germain wish to sign him permanently and he does not want to join them permanently according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The Argentine striker joined the French powerhouses on transfer deadline day in a loan deal with the Ligue 1 side having an option to buy for a reported €70 million after a very drawn out saga.
After a series of off-field events last season, Inter management made it clear to Icardi and his outspoken wife, and agent, Wanda Icardi, that he has no place in their plans going forward.
Since his arrival in the French capital, the 26-year-old striker, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made two appearances.
His first appearance came from the bench in PSG’s 1-0 win over Strasbourg last weekend whilst he made his first start for the Parisian’s in Wednesday night’s 3-0 Champions League group stage victory over Real Madrid.
