Antonio Conte will make four changes to the team that started in Tuesday night’s 1-1 Champions League group stage match with Slavia Prague for this weekend’s first Derby della Madonnina of the season.
Conte will deploy his Inter side in a 3-4-2-1 formation opposed to the 3-5-2 he has used in each of Inter’s four competitive games to date.
He will make one change in the defence, with Diego Godin set to return in place of Danilo D’Ambrosio having been forced to watch on from the bench on Tuesday night.
Nicolo Barella’s late heroics have earned him a starting berth and he will partner Marcelo Brozovic in the middle of the park.
Stefano Sensi will play in a more advanced attacking midfield role in behind Romelu Lukaku and he will be partnered by Matteo Politano.
Inter Predicted Starting XI (3-4-2-1): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Kwadwo Asamoah; Matteo Politano, Stefano Sensi; Romelu Lukaku.
