AC Milan coach Marco Giampaolo kept his starting eleven hidden from even his players yesterday, although according to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport there are already several hints about Giampaolo’s plans.
In a press conference yesterday, Giampaolo mentioned that Andrea Conti could start against Inter.
“He will play. He has an important chance. He’s a guy who’s training well, he’s grown up compared to a few months ago. In the defensive phase he knows he needs to improve and is working hard on this, there have been improvements. Tomorrow he’ll be able to show how he is doing.”
This would be the 25-year-old Italian’s first Milanese derby as a starter, since last year’s appearance came from the bench. The defensive partnership of Mateo Musacchio and Alessio Romagnoli is also expected, with Ricardo Rodriguez expected to start as the left-back, with summer arrival Theo Hernandez remaining on the bench.
Both Suso and Piatek are set to lead the Rossoneri’s attack.
