Gianfelice Facchetti, son of Inter legend Giacinto Facchetti, spoke to Italian media outlet Radio Sportiva today about the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 victory over AC Milan in the Milanese derby.
“It’s definitely a beautiful Sunday. In general, the team is playing well, Barella is growing and the defence has confirmed their strength.”
The Italian actor spoke of the dressing room quarrel between Marcelo Brozovic and Romelu Lukaku.
“There could be no better answer, conflicts and clashes are an integral part of working life, if there are no conflicts you don’t grow. I also believe that the club is changing in this respect.”
He dismissed talk of Inter already setting themselves up for the league title.
“I think it’s too early to talk about these things, the important thing is to have constant growth. If you get to the end close to Napoli and Juventus, then anything could happen.”
Finally, Facchetti spoke about former Inter striker Mauro Icardi.
“Maybe he was immediately forgotten because we talked about him so much that we all couldn’t wait to turn the page.”
