Italy coach Roberto Mancini spoke to Italian media outlet Rai2 about Inter and their victory over AC Milan in the Milan derby last night.

“Inter are in better shape than Milan at the moment, but we’re on day four and it takes at least ten to get the teams in shape. Inter have played well, but the league is long. My relationship with Antonio Conte? We haven’t met many times: two times in the Champions League with Galatasaray-Juve, but I don’t remember other times sincerely.”

The former Inter manager also spoke of the comparisons between his work with Italy and Conte’s work with the Nerazzurri.

“Yes, in this sense yes. I took the National team in a difficult period: the morale was low, but we managed to find strong youngsters.”

Inter are currently top of the league table after a perfect start in the championship, winning their first four games in a row.
