Inter are keeping a close eye on how midfielder Marco Carraro gets on whilst on loan at Perugia from fellow Serie A club Atalanta according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Inter sold the midfielder to Atalanta for €5 million back in the Summer of 2018 but maintained a buy-back option for each of the two following Summer’s as part of the deal.
The report goes on to explain that Inter could bring Carraro back if he is to impress them with his performances this season for a sum between €9-10 million. The Nerazzurri club, who are currently top of Serie A, will make their decision on Carraro closer to the end of this season.
Carraro has started in all seven of Serie B outfit Perugia’s games this season across all competitions and has contributed a single assist in 615 minutes on the field, which he has spent primarily in the role of a defensive midfielder.
